The Tampa Green Beret Association (TGBA) is a not-for-profit fraternal veteran’s organization incorporated in 2011 in the state of Florida to serve as the corporate partner of Chapter LX of the Special Forces Association. Our vision is to serve the U.S. Army Green Berets and their families in recruitment, during service, in transition from service, and in pursuit of earned veteran’s benefits while assisting United States Special Operations Command and the Tampa Bay community in recognizing the contribution of U.S. Army Special Forces both during and following the fight.
TGBA exists to help Chapter LX become the pre-eminent fraternal organization in the Special Forces, Special Operations, and Tampa Bay communities, living up to the legacy of Special Forces and setting the standard for fraternal veterans associations.
A major contributor to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides for the education of the children of fallen Special Operations warriors, Chapter LX also operates our own Richard J. Meadows Memorial Scholarship program as part of our commitment to helping the families of Special Forces and Special Operations personnel achieve their educational goals. The Chapter also supports the Special Operations Memorial Foundation, the Green Beret Foundation, the Fisher House, and a variety of other Veterans and charitable causes in the Tampa Bay area.
We hope you will consider joining and/or supporting Tampa’s alumni association for America’s fabled “Green Berets.” Since their creation, America’s Special Forces and Special Operations personnel have never let us down. True “quiet professionals,” they deserve our continued support.
Contributions or gifts to TGBA are tax-deductible in accordance with section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. TGBA Employer Identification Number (EIN): 45-1773565.
