The Special Forces Association, Chapter LX is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (19) veterans group organized and dedicated to the support of U.S. Army Special Forces Soldiers in the Tampa Bay Florida. The Chapter LX goal is to become the pre-eminent fraternal organization in the Special Forces, Special Operations, and Tampa Bay communities, living up to the legacy of Special Forces and setting the standard for fraternal veterans associations.
A major contributor to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides for the education of the children of fallen Special Operations warriors, Chapter LX also operates our own Richard J. Meadows Memorial Scholarship program as part of our commitment to helping the families of Special Forces and Special Operations personnel achieve their educational goals. The Chapter also supports the Special Operations Memorial Foundation, the Green Beret Foundation, the Fisher House, and a variety of other Veterans and charitable causes in the Tampa Bay area.
We hope you will consider joining and/or supporting Tampa’s alumni association for America’s fabled “Green Berets.” We also host a variety of local events in the Tampa Bay area including Monthly Chapter Meetings, Annual Golf Tournaments, Annual Army Ball, and our SpringFest Party.
